Planning your child's PSLE year is easier when you know the key dates. Here's what to mark for the 2026 cohort.

Written examinations

The 2026 PSLE written examinations are scheduled for Thursday 24 September to Wednesday 30 September 2026.

Oral & Listening Comprehension

The Oral examinations (English and Mother Tongue) typically take place a few weeks before the written papers, around mid-to-late August, with Listening Comprehension usually in mid-September. Your child's school will confirm exact dates and reporting times — these vary by school and centre.

Results

PSLE results are typically released in late November 2026, followed by the Secondary 1 posting exercise in December.

How to use this timeline

• Now → August: build oral fluency and reading-aloud habits; the Oral is over before the written papers, so don't leave it last.
• August: Oral exams — practise the stimulus-based conversation weekly.
• September: written papers across English, Mathematics, Science and Mother Tongue.
• November: results.
